I have struggled with blackheads and cystic acne for years. At almost 40, I had just about given up... until I tried this product. I had ZERO problems with acne while using it. I ran out a couple of weeks ago and it's back. This stuff is the best. I will be sure not to run out of it again!

I have used all the top lines of facial products; however, the antibacterial cleanser I had been using for years changed their formula, so I needed to find a replacement. My face is prone to the P:acnes, which means I need a cleanser that combats the surface bacteria on my skin. After careful review, I decided to try NeoStrata's Antibacterial Cleanser & it is working wonderfully. Not only has it carried on the acne-free legacy of the prior cleanser, but it also has given my skin a different tone. The tone of my skin now appears to be much more even & "glowing."
Since my mid-twenties, my body started produces excess sebum, so I am on hormone therapy to control the androgenous hormones responsible for the oil production, or at least as much as possible. So, I have to be realistic in accepting that I will always have oily skin (though controlled) with large pores, regardless of the internal & external substances that I use.
As such, I have found that this product does not increase or decrease the amount of blackheads that accumulate in my pores. To combat those, I must use salicylic containing products, in addition to a benzoyl peroxide product to also help combat the oiliness (& bacteria). This regimen is 95% effective. Of course, I use other products as well, such as eye creams, oil-free pressed powder, oil-free moisturizer, & a wonderful skin-refining product.
It is my sincere hope that this company will continue to produce this exact product & not change the formula, like the other company did. Plus, another advantage of purchasing products from this company (& the prior), is that they do NOT test on animals, so I can have peace of mind when using them. :-)
